Bevan Ashford, one of the largest regional law firms in the UK, has significantly improved their work processes and service to clients by implementing Internet and Intranet technology in its seven regional offices. The firm, which specialises in commercial property, litigation, company commercial, construction, public funding, patents and intellectual property, uses the Intranet for messaging, scheduling and document management. The entire process of creating the firm's IT infrastructure and intranet started in 1991 with the introduction of Novell NetWare. Beyond the building of the Intranet, Bevan Ashford has found the upgrade to intraNetWare and NDS has led to considerable savings and efficiency in the management of the network.
