Leveraging the full breadth of Symantec's technology and service offerings, the report is based on data and analysis that cover the full spectrum of information security, including network-based cyber attacks, vulnerability analysis, and malicious code analysis. For example, in 2003 Symantec documented 2,636 new vulnerabilities, 70% of which are easily exploited. And, the report shows trends such as the number of malicious code submissions that presented a threat to confidential data increased by 519% over the first half of 2003. Webcast attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the state of overall Internet threats, what these threats mean to their organization and what one might expect in the future.
