A leading mobile operator wanted to configure and integrate a delivery platform to enable the download of Java games via its mobile portal. The requirements were complex: the platform needed to provide an end-to end download service via a subscriber's handset - from browsing to delivery and payment. It also needed to provide offer management via Web and Wap channels, and management of the content providers. Plus the content needs to be configured automatically according to the handset. The project was delivered by the Capgemini Service Platforms competence center in Paris, with 200 people dedicated to delivering service platform technology including identity management, location-based services, portals, payment systems, and architecture & security.
