Founded in 1962 as Electronic Data Systems, EDS is one of the world's most experienced outsourcing services companies, providing information technology services to more than 35,000 business and government clients around the world. EDS wanted quick, company-wide answers to a host of critical workforce management questions. Neither homegrown solutions nor commercial products could adequately provide visibility across EDS's huge corporate and geographic boundaries. That is, until EDS found Primavera Evolve. In early 2001, EDS began implementing the Primavera workforce management software in its consulting services organization.
