The client is a public university with a multi-building campus environment and associated distributed telecom network and infrastructure. SecureLogix staff collected the data set for a report during a 78-day product evaluation covering all client's telecom circuits. It was found that the 224,487 inbound modem calls were cause for extreme concern; as each represented a potential external hacker connection into the university's data network, voice system or other critical infrastructure via unsecured phone lines and modems inside the enterprise.
