The client is an established, regional, financial services company with a multi-site office environment and associated distributed telecom network and infrastructure. SecureLogix staff collected the data set for a report during an 88-day product evaluation covering all of the client's telecom circuits. Due to the limited time horizon, the evaluation focused only on a subset of all possible ROI and security enhancement benefits that might ultimately be derived from day-to-day, customized and expanded use of the ETM System. It was found that the 1,420 inbound modem calls were cause for extreme concern; as each represented a potential external hacker connection into the corporate data network, voice system or other critical infrastructure via unsecured phone lines and modems inside the enterprise.
