Deltanet Delta Dental Plans Association (Delta Dental) is the oldest, largest, most experienced dental benefits system in the United States, offering a nationwide system of dental health benefits for a wide range of employers. The challenge was to ensure confidentiality and prevent unauthorized access to subscribers' personal information, in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). AppScan was selected as the solution. AppScan helps ensure HIPAA compliance and lowers application development costs by automating the security testing and vulnerability assessment processes.
