AMT's goal was to benefit from a remote distribution technology to enable the rapid distribution of updates when needed but also to authorize "on-demand" distribution and the follow-up on dedicated applications running on Bore@l workstations across the administrative sites. The solution also should allow AMT to automatically distribute variable data, such as rates which are subject to frequent change, to servers and workstations. The Bore@l workstation developed by AMT fits with Credit Agricole's corporate strategy. The BMC Configuration Management solution offered the two-fold advantage of natively supporting versioned applications, without the need for custom development, as well as on-demand remote distribution of variable data requiring daily updates.
