The client is a leader in the pharmaceutical industry employing more than 41,000 people worldwide and markets its medicines in 158 countries. The project ran at the client's Electronic Data Management (EDM) group, Indianapolis IN. In quarter four 2001, the client acquired the use of data mining software engineered by California technology innovator Informatica. The client needed assistance establishing the proper procedures for the new software within the company's existing data warehouses. VMC provided technical engineers with experience working with Informatica products to analyze the client's current systems, create a plan for using Informatica solutions, and to implement a solution once it was approved by the client.
