Any downtime or loss of availability is likely to have serious repercussions for the business. A disaster-tolerant solution is therefore essential. ST engaged HP to provide a solution based on HP Metrocluster with Continuous Access XP. The solution incorporates an HP Serviceguard cluster of two HP rp7400 servers and two HP StorageWorks XP128 disk arrays in a SAN configuration.
