This webcast focuses on HP Integrity servers based on the Intel Itanium 2 processor. The webcast is directed toward programmers and will show the aspects of this architecture that will enhance the programming experience. The viewers will gain a basic understanding of the Intel Itanium architecture, giving sufficient knowledge to: make better use of Itanium tuning tools like Caliper and vTune, understand the importance of the Itanium features and their effects on performance, and understands the mechanisms underlying software pipelining and other forms of parallelism.
