The purpose of this paper is to identify the components of the GroupWise email system configuration, delivered as part of the Email Improvement Project. Based on best practice guidelines for IT service management as outlined in the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Best Practice in Service Delivery 2004, the IT components supporting the component services of the University Email Service are identified in the Service Catalogue below and the level of service is described in the Email Service Definition document.
