EXIN, the worldwide Examination Institute for Information Science, recently completed a new certification program for ITIL Practitioner. EXIN is proud to announce the first module for a new clustered ITIL Practitioner certificate: Practitioner's Certificate in IT Service Management Release and Control (IPRC). In a joint initiative with the examination board of the British Computer Society, the ISEB, EXIN will launch another clustered Practitioner Certificate later this year. This will be the ITIL Practitioner Support and Restore (IPSR), based on the ITIL guidance on Service Desk, Incident Management and Problem Management. This White Paper is aimed at clarifying the concepts and ideas behind the development of these new Practitioner Certificates, especially the ITIL Practitioner Certificate Release and Control.
