Founded in 1949 and privatised in 1996, RDW is the Centre for vehicle technology, approval and information in The Netherlands. RDW decided to modernize their complete application architecture to allow them to continue being successful in the dynamic European market. It was critical to ensure a smooth transition of the development and maintenance processes from the mainframe to the PC, with processes running on the different platforms being synchronised. The SCOUT² Development Platform from Delta Software Technology provides RDW with a modern, integrated PC-based environment for multi-platform development that implements the full range of custom development standards based on ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library).
