Danka Business Systems PLC is a leading independent provider of enterprise imaging systems and services. Danka's Americas-based operations required integrated customer data for greater efficiency and meeting reporting requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley, as data was fragmented by functional applications. Obtaining accurate customer data was high maintenance and expensive. Data warehouse approach would not work as source systems changed constantly and information would be out-of-date by the time reports would be run. The company deployed Oracle Customer Data Hub for its Americas-based operations, producing one version of customer data for approximately 70,000 active customers - data that is integrated into the flow of business transactions.
