To run its financial and human resource operations more cost-effectively, American Medical Security licensed key PeopleSoft Enterprise modules from Oracle's line of applications. The challenge of the ensuing implementation was complicated by a growth-restrained health care industry that emphasized cost control and restricted resources. PeopleSoft Global Services and American Medical Security teamed to craft a multi-layer hybrid approach to the implementation. Responsibilities were shared between the in-house American Medical Security IT team, PeopleSoft Consulting, and the PeopleSoft Solution Center.
