Kleyn International is the world's largest independent trader of used commercial vehicles (trucks, vans, buses, and construction equipment), with sales of about 170 million euros in 2002. Kleyn operates under the "known quality" concept: every truck is thoroughly inspected so customers know exactly what they are buying, whether their purchase is on an "as is" basis or, after an extensive overhaul, under guarantee. Kleyn International began implementing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Foundation modules for Financial Management, Procurement Management, Logistics, and Sales Order Management. JD Edwards EnterpriseOne replaced a collection of disconnected, homegrown systems written in several languages.
