Multimodal presentation based on embodied conversational agent has been introduced and implemented on various platforms. However, most of them tend to require high computational and graphical capabilities. While mobile phones, which become indispensable device, have extremely limited computational and graphical resources. Implementing multimodal presentation on mobile phones raises a lot of issues because the authors have to make the most out of limited resources. At the same time, the approaches to creating affective behavior of character are different from other platforms. This paper describes and introduces the approach that successfully brings multimodal presentation to mobile phones.
