Pentagon Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, was organized and chartered for the purpose of promoting thrift among its members and creating a source of credit for provident or productive purposes. They evaluated its existing information technology systems and committed to a long-term systems upgrade strategy to move away from using mainframe for running human resources and financials business processes. Pentagon Federal Credit Union uses Oracle's PeopleSoft solutions to standardize business processes, cut costs, integrate legacy and custom internal systems, enable convenient user access, and automate approval routings.
