Capture Resource is a leading provider of integrated image and data capture services. The challenge for them was that the welcome growth resulted in increased burden on the IT department. They needed to more effectively manage the 2nd and 3rd shifts to ensure that issues were dealt with quickly and effectively as soon as they occurred. Capture Resource decided to evaluate emerging wireless technology as a possible solution for their resource shortage. They determined that sonicadmin would better suite their needs. Capture Resource simply acquired a Pocket PC1 and a CDPD2 wireless network card and arranged for wireless connectivity through a Wireless Service Provider.
