To prepare for population growth and evolving wireless technology, the City of Aurora, CO deployed a new mobile data communications network for its police, fire and hazmat personnel. The City required a remote access solution that could speed wireless transmissions, enable seamless network roaming and provide high levels of security. With Mobility XE, vehicle query responses went from 4.7 minutes to 12 seconds. And Mobility XE's Policy Management module gives the City the ability to control access to sensitive information based on the user, mobile device or even the network being used.
