Many of the newest features or services, such as WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS, S-DMB and MediaFlo, require separate wireless connectivity in addition to the cellular connectivity. Integrating these multiple wireless technologies into the small volume of a handset, along with the cellular functions, is bound to create interference problems. This webcast gives a brief overview of the trend toward integration of various wireless technologies into cellular devices. The overview is followed by an exploration of known and potential interference problems for converged devices.
