As one of the most famous historical monuments in the world, the site of the Acropolis supports a tremendous amount of activity. Given its wealth of beauty and history, it is a popular destination for tourists as well as a site for ongoing archeological research and restoration. Because of these distinct activities, there was a need to set up two separate networks in order to link up critically important workstations and servers. P-COM's secure broadband wireless solution enabled Acropolis to gain tremendous efficiencies by enabling two networks to share relevant data at 11Mb/s.
