The Lakeville Area Public School District serves approximately 10,600 students and is one of the most rapidly growing districts in Minnesota. The district hoped to install a new solution that could provide a common management platform for all switches. Based on Gigabit Ethernet, Extreme Networks' solution delivers a simplified approach to network management and administration, including the ability to perform either webbased or command line administration. EPICenter, Extreme Networks' management suite, simplifies configuration, troubleshooting and status monitoring of the network while streamlining common tasks. As the district evaluates deploying addition applications, including wireless access for classrooms, it will continue to look for ways to work with the Extreme Networks team.
