A two billion dollar distributor of information systems and services wanted to provide their sales organization with up-to-the-minute information on product pricing and availability, while the sales people were out in the field in front of their customers. With rapidly changing inventories, it was important that this information be real-time, vs. synchronized. A push-based architecture would enable salespeople to be apprised of rapidly changing business conditions without having to ask for information. The customer chose Defywire Mobility Suite because it addressed all of these needs through one secure, reliable wireless infrastructure.
