RadioShack is one of the nation's most trusted consumer electronics specialty retailers and a provider of a variety of retail support services. RadioShack was facing problems with processing credit card transactions securely and in real time, while keeping up with market conditions with new service offerings. Two of RadioShack's most critical applications - communications and credit card processing - run on a NonStop S7606 server; other NonStop servers support distribution, test, and development. In fact, RadioShack makes good use of the full range of HP products, from laptops and desktops to ProLiant, HP-UX, and Superdome computers.
