The client is a multibank holding company that offers a broad range of lending, depository, private, and corporate banking and related financial services to individuals and businesses. A 1996 fire in the Capital Market Division of banking group Credit Lyonnais, in Paris, prompted the organization to implement an effective remote data backup and recovery solutions. Legoto Systems, Inc. (now EMC Corporation) rose to the challenge. Credit Lyonnais relies on EMC Networker for both backup and recovery.
