The client is a tier 1 European OEM, providing voice, video, and data delivery solutions to telecom carriers, ISPs, and enterprises. The challenges were the design and development of an S-CSCF node with continuously evolving IMS specifications, and to handle a large volume of subscriber data over the S-CSCF interfaces and manage high storage requirements. Flextronics' Software Systems (FSS) provided a comprehensive solution including abstraction, development, and implementation of the S-CSCF.
