Established in June of 2000, Vizzavi Europe operates a multi-access portal throughout Europe for mobile Internet users. While Vizzavi has taken over and built up existing portal suppliers in other European countries, Vizzavi Deutschland GmbH had to start from scratch. They were tasked to create a modern and highly accessible infrastructure from entirely new equipment, which they successfully launched in June of 2001. Vizzavi's network was implemented using high-performance switches from Foundry Networks. Sun systems are used as servers.
