Westlake Software, Inc. and Conectus Wireless (Nextel Dealer and Master Agent) were approached by CM Concrete to devise an automated way to manage field time card management using the latest in wireless technology. The organization had tried a variety of semi-mobile proprietary job clock/time card equipment that proved to be both awkward and nowhere near as flexible as they needed in their day-to-day operations. The new model proposed would make use of the Nextel wireless network, the Motorola i58sr phone, Symbol bar code adaptor for the Motorola phone and the Westlake AirMobility.Net Wireless Middleware.
