The Sewell Automotive Company began in the1950's based on Carl Sewell Senior's renowned high standards of business and customer satisfaction. The Sewell Lexus dealership comprises over a half-million square feet distributed over five buildings and outside car displays. The biggest challenge to a sales staff over such a large area is maintaining the balance between effective communication with customers in the showroom and customers on the phone. An unanswered phone call reflects poorly on customer service. Sewell Lexus decided to install SpectraLink's Link Wireless Telephone System (Link WTS) and provide 84 employees with Wireless Telephones, focusing on employees in areas of high customer contact.
