This paper gives a broad understanding of the use of contracts in WebSphere Commerce. It pays particular attention to business accounts and contracts that are only available in IBM WebSphere Commerce Business Edition. The paper gives a description of key functions and terms relating to contracts and their usage. It then provides a high level overview of the life cycle of a contract, explaining different methods of creating business accounts and contracts. This includes importing XML files or manual creation using the Business Relationship Management Tools provided in the IBM WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
