After implementing a successful pilot, Sun is deploying a system that tracks all assets moved into and out of large co-location labs. The pilot demonstrated that this new system, based on Sun Java System RFID Software, can keep track of all network and non-network assets. It requires an intern to spend just one hour a week verifying the current locations of thousands of items, even in large facilities.
