Vancouver-based Creo Inc. is a global developer of digital imaging and software technology. The organization wanted to create a more stable desktop environment, improve communications among geographically separated staff members, and improve information flow between users. In late 2003, Creo began working with the Habanero Consulting Group to migrate its infrastructure to the next generation of Microsoft-based desktop and server technology. Since this migration, the company has improved both end-user experience and infrastructure efficiency, as well as cutting down the support demands on the IT department. The combination of Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 messaging and collaboration client, and Exchange Server 2003, allows users to manage e-mail and personal information more effectively across a variety of devices and network connections.
