This paper presents an overview of Agile Project Management & Development Methods. The paper will describe the deficiency of normal project development processes, who started Agile Management & development method, what is it made up of and who should use it, differences between Agile development processes and normal development processes, analogies of Agile project development & management methods in contrast with Normal development Processes, and the effectiveness of Agile development processes. The paper will also give examples of Agile project development methods, methods like Extreme Programming and Scrum, discuss the drawbacks of Agile development methods and suggest ways in which the limitations of these Agile development methods can be overcome.
