This paper provides guidelines and techniques for analyzing the data provided by HP StorageWorks Command View EVAPerf software tool and detailed information on the data it presents. This paper is intended for storage administrators or architects involved in performance characterization of an HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA). The HP Command View EVAPerf software also provides information on activity within the storage system that can be useful in determining saturation levels or assessing capacity for additional workload.
