This technical paper describes a set of techniques for integrating HP's identity management solution, HP OpenView Select Identity, with the BEA WebLogic Portal framework. The end goal of this work is to provide a concrete example using Select Identity to provision new users into a portal application. This paper also demonstrates how entitlements to the portal can be granted based on the user's role within the company.
