Robert W. Baird & Co., an employee-owned financial services firm, realized cost and labor savings in a major technology refresh by simplifying end-of-lease and end-of-life administration with IBM Asset Recovery Solutions. Baird helped protect itself by having all disk drives overwritten by IBM Asset Recovery Solutions. Baird also helped protect itself - and the environment - by having its non-marketable equipment disposed of in compliance with applicable environmental protection regulations. Viable Baird-owned machines were sold on the secondary market, with the financial recovery from resale of the used assets to offset costs.
