The fast paced world of business communication has been rapidly adopting the technologies of cellular service and IP Telephony as both have proven to increase employee productivity and increase business revenues. The need to integrate these applications into a seamless communications environment has emerged as a management priority. This paper explores the challenges/problems stemming from the independent tracks of cellular mobility and IP Telephony and how Avaya and Nokia have joined together to bring to the market a solution that leverages the capabilities of both worlds in an integrated manner and bridges the gap between Wireless and Enterprise IP Telephony.
