To meet the performance and cost requirement, an advanced flexible manufacturing technology has been established for compound semiconductor IC's. The common process modules shared by different products maximize equipment and manpower utilization and thus reduce manufacturing cost by synergy. This approach also allows the tailoring of InGaP/GaAs HBT designs for various wireless communications applications using a single process flow.
