The Citizens Advice Bureau Service offers free, confidential, impartial and independent advice. One of the major objectives of the CAB is an increase in the accessibility via new technologies, aiming to be a lead provider of online services. Its IT infrastructure needed to be made more robust, reliable and expandable, while delivering the most efficient solution. HP implemented an eBMS data centre hosted infrastructure, in an eight-year, 20 million euro contract. The platform comprised Windows 2000 clustered ProLiant ML servers and Deskpro EN PCs as the infrastructure for the 17 regional offices.
