AUHSD is a progressive school district located in Southern California's Orange County. The district's infrastructure was not able to expand to accommodate the anticipated communication traffic across its network and could not provide the desired connectivity to classrooms in all schools. In addition, staff resources were limited, requiring a solution that was both robust and simple to administer and maintain. Security was a key to AUHSD's network solution. To address this, the HP ProCurve solution moves important access decisions to the edge of the network where users and applications connect.
