The Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) has been deployed and exponentially grown during the 1990s. Its evident success has been determined by the co-existence of diverse boosting factors: the positive trend in the western world economy of those years, the transition from analogical to digital technologies, the introduction of pre-paid cards and the Short Message System (SMS) technology. This paper presents BF a proposal for a novel location based application for mobile devices. Its simplicity and attractiveness could make BF a very popular entertainment tool, also potentially able to boost up the utilization of the various multimedia services available on modern mobile devices.
