JSerra High School is a newly developed high school in San Juan Capistrano, California. The school's Board of Directors envisioned a state-of-the-art facility where every student would have a wireless laptop computer that could be used anywhere on the campus. CCS recommended IBM for its top-grade reliability, scalability, easy maintenance and low cost of ownership. The backbone of the proposed system was an integrated IBM eserver xSeries network, a highly stable and available platform that ensures minimum downtime. Additionally, the school deployed IBM's ThinkCentre desktops and the ThinkPad R series notebook with integrated wireless capabilities and Centrino technology.
