Founded in 1969, Ottogi began its business producing curry sauces, ketchup, and ramyeon, a type of Korean noodle. Ottogi needed the ability to quickly adjust supply chain management (SCM) and business information systems to respond to changing market demands. They identified the need to implement a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that would maximize work efficiency by consolidating, automating, and integrating finance, logistics, human resource management, business strategy, and marketing processes. They chose Oracle E-Business Suite as the foundation for its new ERP system.
