Hosting 6,300 events and 600,000 guests per year, Hornblower Cruises & Events prides itself on paying attention to detail and running a very tight ship. To maximize printer longevity while minimizing maintenance and supplies cost, the company needed to find optimal ink and toner supplies that could produce high-quality, professional-looking materials on a fairly modest budget. Hornblower purchased various brands of non-HP cartridges, as well as HP original supplies, to compare the results using the company's HP LaserJet printers. They found that non-HP cartridges provided lower than expected yields and had several problems with leaking seals, which caused excess toner to spill inside the printers.
