Though the company has conducted e-business for some time, it lacked a single corporate Web site for its employees. Honeywell chose to build its employee portal on Sun Microsystems' technologies. The company engaged Sun Professional Services to provide platform integration services as well as ServerStart and Sun StorEdge ArrayStart installation services. Sun consultants managed the architectural deployment including installation, test and integration - while also providing on-the-job training to employees.
