The business community and software vendors have recognized that XBRL is to be the agreed-upon method to begin the process of removing the language barrier that hinders the exchange of business data. Software companies like Creative Solutions quickly embraced XBRL and have added the schema defined as AICPA US GAAP C & I Taxonomy to their accounting and trial balance programs. In addition to the GAAP schema provided, Creative Solutions accounting and trial balance programs allow any other taxonomy to be used. Users of accounting software applications that contain the XBRL taxonomy simply will be able to go through a one-time process of associating a specific client's chart of accounts with the corresponding XBRL taxonomy codes.
