With headquarters in Germany and 360 subsidiaries in more than 75 countries across the globe, the geographic range of the Henkel Group is very much a crucial business issue. The primary challenge was the creation of a central treasury that operates cohesively and effectively, and ensures the flow of data and financial information within the company and beyond to suppliers and business partners. By combining their existing treasury infrastructure with SAP accounting systems and integrating them with the new systems XRT Globe$ and XRT Business Exchange platform, Henkel Group is able to facilitate communication and process flow throughout their financial supply chain.
