The union of Sogeparc and Parcs GTM dates back to 1 October 2000, when a friendly bid by way of an exchange of stocks allowed the giant of construction industry VINCI, the parent-company of Sogeparc, to take control of 97.4% of the GTM Group capital. In October 2001, the two companies were merged into a new car park pool, the under the name VINCI Park. The merger only accelerated the inevitable overhaul of VINCI Park's treasury department IT system and its banking relations. The criteria for choosing a new solution were clear from the onset: capability to process hundreds of bank accounts on a daily basis with absolute reliability. An imperative is the fostering of procedural synchronisation among the two treasury teams through an ergonomic solution. This objective was achieved thanks to XRT-Universe.
